The digital age has witnessed the explosion of information. The process of information dissemination relies on various media. The emergence of new media for communication attributes to the development of digital technology, which provides new possibilities for communication design. New media like digital screens, interactive digital installations and Apps have earned their popularity and play a significant role in interactive communication. Interaction in commercial cross-communication design adds some spices to brands and online marketing, spreading the brand value effectively.

Ryan K.L. Jiang

As the Creative Director of the Institute of Creative Communications (ICC, HK& UK, and the Executive Editor-in-chief of BranD magazine, Ryan is a Creative Media Specialist who has been working with international organisations including, BBC, Guardian, Venice Biennale Art Exhibitions, Basel Art, Wallpaper* Magazine , and Phaidon around Europe, China and Greater China area.
With the MA degree in Radio from Goldsmiths College, University of London, he currently hosts (in ICC Prince Hills Centre, Guangzhou) researches over medium of Art and design, new media art, medium for publishing, curating new media art, interaction design for creative message, sound as medium for art and experiences, journalism for Art and design and marketing for Creative Businesses. His research projects output regular contents and direction for international media publications including futurist art news service, online gallery service The Curator Project and International Cross-communication design Bi-monthly BranD and etc.

Guest Speakers:



Zijns is the researcher of IdeaWorks Synthesis Design Research Institute, vision researcher and advocate of the Oriental philosophy design theory. His works of Oriental prospect and romantic charm have had extensive influence and charisma. In 2009, he was involved in launching Zhongxuanmei program. In 2011, he and MiShijie, a vision researcher, collaborated to establish IdeaWorks Synthesis Design Research Institute. Zhang Zijian is one of the authors for Design Belief- Power of Profession.


Sun Yan

Sun Yan is a contemporary well-known designer and Founder of Byzh'er Culture Communication Co., Ltd. Graduated from China Central Academy of Fine Art, he focuses on the showcase arts, new media arts, cultural and creative product design and spatial design. In July 2010, he created Sun Yan Art Design Studio and in July 2011, he also foundedByzh'er Culture Communication Co., Ltd.
He has served on the National Centre for the Performing Arts, the Chinese Olympic Committee, the Capital Museum, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Nestle Nespresso Ltd., Newland International Communications Group (UK) and other customers.
